We are looking for an Operations Associate to support the Crypto trading desk, combining traditional operations responsibilities with crypto-specific tasks.
Your future role at QRT:
- Processing and reconciling crypto trades and asset movements.
- Onboarding new exchanges, brokers and custodians, including completing KYC requirements.
- Providing support to the trading desk as required.
- Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
- Cash transfer management.
- Using programming tools to automate tasks and optimise workflows (some experience in a language such as VBA is required; Python can be developed on the job).
Your present skillset:
- Degree educated (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field).
- Candidates should have 2-3 years of operations, fund accounting, or fund administration experience gained in a financial services firm, which may include areas such as trade capture, trade settlement, reconciliation, or similar operational tasks.
- Experience working with external service providers (e.g. onboarding exchanges or brokers, completing KYC requirements).
- Exposure to or demonstrate an interest in the crypto asset space.
- Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and supporting process improvements.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Some programming experience (e.g. VBA or similar) is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and apply Python on the job.
- English fluency is required.
