The Operations and Content Strategist will lead cultural analysis, strategic communications, and operational excellence, creating impactful insights and content for clients and internal stakeholders.

Utilizing Hypebeast’s proprietary tools, Hypemind is backed by a team of researchers, data analysts and strategists who capture, consolidate and analyze consumer insights to enable clients to better navigate future trends and movements in culture.
This is a Strategist-first role, combining deep cultural analysis with the discipline of strategic communications and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be the engine room for Hypemind's strategic output, ensuring the rigor of our insights, the clarity of our internal and external communications, and the efficiency of our operations.
You will be a strategic thinker capable of delivering world-class research and analysis, responsible for translating raw cultural data into strategic narratives, supporting the Hypemind leadership in managing the vertical's growth and discipline, and driving our brand presence through high-quality marketing content.
Responsibilities:

- World-Class Research & Analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research across a variety of methodologies to deliver solution-driven analysis that provides actionable, culturally-forward recommendations for clients.
- Cultural Trend Analysis: Conduct primary and secondary research on consumer behavior, cultural shifts, and market trends, leveraging both internal Hypebeast data and external sources.
- Client Insight Development: Develop research methodologies and strategic frameworks to address complex client briefs, ensuring all insights lead to actionable recommendations.
- Project Ownership: Own and manage research workstreams and medium-sized projects, ensuring successful and insightful deliveries that lead to repeat business and deeper client relationships.
- Strategy Implementation: Work with the leadership team to deliver the defined Hypemind consultancy strategy, ensuring the appropriate methodologies and frameworks are employed for all project teams and that we implement best-in-class consulting for designated clients.
- Internal Knowledge Streams: Contribute to internal product development that deliver new knowledge streams and enhance Hypemind's proprietary data advantage.
- Global Market Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the global market from macro to micro trends across consumer, fashion, and lifestyle product areas, with the ability to pin-point trends that will impact client's business.
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to ensure Hypemind's positioning and offerings remain differentiated and forward-thinking.
- Internal Consultancy: Serve as an internal consultant, ensuring all Hypemind projects adhere to the vertical KPIs.
- Content Strategy & Creation: Own the development and execution of Hypemind's content strategy across multiple channels to drive brand awareness and commercial pipeline.
- Editorial Content: Draft, edit, and manage high-quality thought leadership articles and white papers.
- Social Media: Develop and manage the content calendar and posting strategy for Hypemind's professional social media presence (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Newsletter: Curate and write the Hypemind newsletter, translating complex insights into concise, compelling narratives for a senior executive audience.
- Presentation & Stakeholder Management: Prepare high-stakes internal and external presentations (e.g., executive summaries, board updates, sales enablement decks).
- Operational Discipline: Support in day-to-day operations, including project management, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitoring the status of key deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Sales, Client Services, and Editorial to ensure seamless collaboration and strategy alignment.
- Commercial Support: Support commercial activity by sharing category insight, client-relevant insight, and big shifts in client landscapes with the sales team globally.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a strategy, consulting, trend forecasting, or market research role (e.g., trend forecasting firms, consulting agencies, or a similar cultural insights/strategy in-house).
- Proven research, analysis & strategy skills. Must have an in-depth understanding of the role data and analytics plays in commercial success and the ability to analyze data to pinpoint market-impacting trends.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and marketing trends, with the ability to pinpoint shifts that will have a great impact across industries.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to write with a confident, expert voice and present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in creating professional marketing content (e.g., editorial, newsletters, social media) that drives business objectives.
- High proficiency in presentation software (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, advanced Excel/Google Sheets) is a significant advantage.
- Ability to take ownership of personal assignments, prioritize workload, and informally support other members of the team.
