Get to know the role:

GXS Bank is looking for a meticulous Operations Analyst to join our Credit Operations team for a 6-month contract. You will play a critical role in supporting a few major portfolio projects that we are embarking on. Your primary responsibility will be the high-volume verification, reconciliation, and secure processing of physical legal and security documents, ensuring compliance with banking standards and strict project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Verification & Quality Assurance: 

    • Review and verify high volumes of physical legal and security documents for completeness, accuracy, and authenticity against system records.

  • Inventory & Reconciliation: 

    • Log, track, and reconcile received document sets to identify missing or discrepant information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Safekeeping & Storage Management: 

    • Organize, pack, and prepare physical documents for long-term secured archiving with our external storage vendor, strictly adhering to established corporate safekeeping and compliance procedures.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

    • Support cross-functional operations and projects/initiatives as needed.

    • Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the team lead.

  • Project Delivery: 

    • Meet daily and weekly unit processing targets to ensure the successful completion of the portfolio migration within the designated project window.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in banking operations, loan administration, credit operations, or legal/security document processing is highly preferred. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain high accuracy during repetitive, high-volume data and document verification tasks.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reconciliation purposes.

  • A proactive team player who can work independently under tight deadlines and handle physical files efficiently.

  • Availability: Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred.
