Responsibilities
- Develop, qualify, and sustain inspection and application solutions to support DRAM NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
- Enable robust inline monitoring strategies to support effective defect detection, yield learning, and early issue identification across critical process steps.
- Analyze manufacturing, inspection, and yield data to identify trends, gaps, and potential yield limiters.
- Support root cause investigations for yield excursions and process instabilities using data-driven and structured problem-solving approaches.
- Drive continuous yield improvement and production stability initiatives in collaboration with process integration, process engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Support technology transfers and new product ramps by ensuring inspection readiness and monitoring coverage.
- Evaluate new tools, capabilities, and methodologies to enhance inspection effectiveness and manufacturing support.
- Work closely with global engineering and supplier partners to resolve technical issues and improve overall manufacturing performance.
- Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of inspection methodologies, application strategies, and best practices.
- Document results, insights, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and long-term manufacturing excellence.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and methodologies to accelerate defect analysis, yield learning, root cause investigation, and engineering decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong engineering fundamentals combined with a willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies, methodologies, and problem-solving approaches.
- Demonstrated curiosity and an innovation-driven mindset, with the motivation to propose new ideas, challenge existing practices, and seek breakthrough solutions to manufacturing and yield challenges.
- Ability and willingness to approach complex problems with a data-driven and experimental mindset, including learning through analysis, iteration, and hands-on investigation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or equivalent industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing, yield engineering, inspection, or application-related roles.
- Experience working in DRAM or advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments, supporting new product introduction, technology transfer, or high-volume manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with electron beam inspection (EBI) or advanced inline inspection systems, including inspection setup, recipe development, tuning, qualification, or sustainment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing and optimizing EBI recipes to support effective defect detection, inline monitoring, and yield learning across critical process steps.
- Strong experience in manufacturing, inspection, defect, or yield data analysis, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable engineering decisions.
- Proficiency with programming, scripting, or analytical tools such as Python, JMP, or similar platforms to support data analysis, automation, or yield learning.
- Familiarity with layout-based analysis or design-related tools such as KLayout, and experience applying layout information to defect localization or yield analysis.
- Experience with structured problem-solving and quality methodologies such as FA, DOE, SPC, FMEA, or 8D.
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to measurable yield improvement, defect reduction, manufacturing robustness, or cycle time improvement initiatives.
- Ability to independently drive technical investigations while effectively collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience proposing, evaluating, and implementing innovative ideas or new approaches to improve manufacturing efficiency, yield performance, or data utilization.
