Why we need youWe are seeking a Knowledge Manager for the Financial Services practice in Asia Pacific to play a critical role in executing best-in-class knowledge management. You will ensure a seamless flow of information globally within Financial Services, acting as the lynchpin connecting consultants and partners to experts, insights, and expertise. You will support Oliver Wyman’s commercial success by facilitating the collection, codification, sanitization, and sharing of intellectual capital, helping teams deliver engagements and win new opportunities through enhanced knowledge flow.
What we will count on you to do- Serve as a key contact for Partners and Consultants, providing information and resources crucial to their commercial success and impact
- Track, identify, collect, and curate valuable intellectual capital from projects for reuse as firm assets
- Analyze project deliverables, including PowerPoint decks, extracting and summarizing strategic narratives and key insights for firmwide knowledge
- Maintain knowledge and file systems, and develop databases and tools to store and share insights for business development and account management
- Collaborate closely with Knowledge Managers across practice areas globally to ensure efficient knowledge flow
- Deliver key elements of the global Financial Services Knowledge strategic plans, focusing on Asia Pacific
- Mentor, coach, and potentially manage junior knowledge management staff
- Organize and drive knowledge events, communications, and forums
- Deliver training to new consultants on knowledge tools, sharing practices, and expertise tracking.
- Build strong working relationships with key practice team members globally and across Oliver Wyman’s Knowledge Management networks
Experience Required
- Degree-level education required.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in knowledge management, research or business development
- Additional plus if candidates have prior experience in strategy / management consulting
- Experience and knowledge of the financial services sector including banking, insurance, asset management, wealth management, or risk management.

- Strong research skills
- Proficiency in Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint
- Familiarity with SharePoint or file management systems
- An understanding of data and database management and data analysis principles.
- Experience with generative AI tools and applications.
- Ability to analyze and convert project information into intellectual capital products.
- Efficient at understanding and responding clearly to knowledge requests.
