- Identify key business drivers to build financial models for revenue & margin scenarios
- Prepare financial plans (P&L) based on financial modelling and performance expectation of the division
- Prepare quarterly P&L forecast based on current performance trend and latest market dynamics
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, new product launches and spending initiatives by modelling alternative financial scenarios
- Prepare journal entries and assist in month end close as needed to ensure proper accounting at the functional and divisional level
- Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance
- Monitor functional and departmental spending versus budget by highlighting material variances using system generated detail and trend reports
- Prepare customized reports to drive visibility of financial information across the organization
- Work closely with commercial leaders to identify growth opportunities/risks
- Support commercial initiatives with scenario analysis and other financial inputs
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (CFS, demand planning, customer service, legal & compliance, regulatory, etc) to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure a sound and compliant financial process and support internal/external auditing enquiries
- Support the design and implementation of incentive scheme
- At least 3 years of working experience in relevant FP&A role
- Solid knowledge of US-GAAP and managerial accounting.
- Excellence data analytics skill with excel
- Excellent communication in Japanese and English
- Strong business acumen
- Experience in medical related business is preferable
- Experience in cross-board/international environment is preferable
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive fact-based decision making
