Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Engineer
Job Summary
The intern will assist the R&D team in simulation projects relating to Design For Additive Manufacturing and optimization
Reports to: Virtual Engineering Manager
Key Responsibilities
Work on projects relating to product optimization under the supervision of Engineering team
Perform Finite element analysis and or Fluid flow analysis as required
Validate simulation results with experimental data
Interact with product development teams on design requirements and challenges
Discuss, propose, and present solutions to the engineering team
Requisite Criteria & Skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree /Phd degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering
Good understanding of Heat transfer, Fluid dynamics and Mechanical design
Excellent skills in CAD [Solidworks, Creo, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D]
Experience with FEM, CFD using Ansys/Abaqus/ Comsol or similar programs and or topology optimization
Knowledge of Computational design, Machine learning, Additive manufacturing and coding (Python, C++ etc) will be an advantage
Good attitude towards work and a passion for simulation driven design
