About the role

We expect the candidate to have 3~5 years of experience working in data engineering.

  • Headcount for Hiring: 2-5

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid

  • Location: Situated in the vibrant HarbourFront area

Requirements

You need familiarity with:

  • SQL (fluency is a must)

  • Python, particularly in context of data transformation and Machine Learning frameworks

  • Experience working in data modeling/transformation and ETL/ELT processes

  • Cloud Providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Greenplum, Oracle, DB2 or similar (Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is a plus)

  • BI tools (e.g. Looker / Tableau Software / Qlik / Power BI)

  • ML and MLOps: Experience with developing and productionizing ML models in a Cloud Provider environment

  • Version control: Git

  • You are comfortable working in a distributed team

  • You have excellent communication skills

  • You love working in an agile environment

  • You are a self-starter and don’t need someone to tell you what to do all the time

  • You take pride in your work
