As a Financial Reporting Analyst in the Financial Management Team, you will play a key role in the preparation and timely submission of regulatory reports. You will work closely with stakeholders across business units and finance functions and keep abreast of the reporting requirements changes to ensure compliance. You are also expected to participate in projects/user acceptance tests to cater for new and/or changes to the regulatory reporting requirements and new products/services launches or source system changes.
How you succeed
To excel in this role, you should have good understanding of the relevant regulatory reporting requirements. Working knowledge of banking products and/or relevant working experience in areas of regulatory reporting in the banking industry are an advantage.
You should possess a strong analytical data mindset and flair for numbers and good communication and stakeholder management skills.
What you do
Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of monthly/quarterly/yearly regulatory reports
Liaise with business partners on Entity and Group month-end close
Analyse and specify information requirements necessary to execute the relevant MAS reporting requirements or changes.
Review impact and specify requirements of new products/services/source system changes and participate in projects/user acceptance tests to ensure that regulatory reporting requirements are catered for
Identify, streamline and automate processes for effectiveness and efficiency
Who you are
Degree/professional qualification in Accountancy, Business or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of banking/treasury products and/or relevant working experience in areas of regulatory reporting in the banking industry are an advantage
Meticulous and a team player as well as able to work independently
Dynamic and able to work under pressure
Proactive and meticulous
Strong analytical data mindset and flair for numbers
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications/SQL programming
