Metrology & Periodic Qualification Engineer (E&I Engineer)

Metrology Management

·       Plan and schedule periodic qualification of facilities, utilities and process equipment metrology assets to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements

·       Develop strategies to minimize measurement errors and improve accuracy

·       Ensure data integrity in all metrology and calibration processes

·       Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and industry standards related to metrology

·       Oversee maintenance of site electrical systems performed by site Facility Management partner; inclusive of high & Low voltage distribution panels, lighting, power, earthing, lightning, photovoltaic and ELV systems

·       System owner for paperless calibration; manage the setup of instrument calibration on paperless system

·       Troubleshoot the instruments and its related communication interface issues with Automation systems

·       Manage instrumentation and electrical spares

Training and Development

·       Provide training on metrology principles and practices to technicians

·       Implement latest metrology technologies and best practices

·       Develop, revise and review SOPs, ensure all the instrument and related systems compliance are met

Stakeholder Management & Cross Function Support (Routine Phase)

·       Provide shopfloor troubleshooting and deviation investigation support for metrology related matters

·       SME for the site calibration and metrology program during the inspections and regulatory audits

·       Based on process requirements and usage information provided by users or system owners, devise calibration program, define calibration tolerance and frequency.

Cross Function Support (Project Phase)

·       Subject Matter Expert on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) matters for assigned Tier3 projects ≤€5mil

·       Represent business in engineering review for high & Low voltage distribution panels, lighting, power, earthing, lightning and ELV system

·       Review the instrument and its related specifications and ensure the user requirements are met

·       Support project execution, testing & commissioning, validation coordination for E&I scope

Review the construction drawings such as instrument loop drawings etc based on project specification
