Job / Role Summary
The role drives advanced 3D NAND technology pathfinding and process integration within the Advanced NAND Technology team in Singapore. It leads the translation of device concepts, materials, and process architecture into validated, manufacturable technology solutions. The position coordinates end-to-end development from concept through technology validation, applies data-driven, AI-assisted, and model-based methods to resolve complex scaling challenges, and collaborates across Device, Probe, Test, Design, and Operations to improve performance, yield learning, execution, and future-node roadmap readiness.
Main Responsibilities

• Lead 3D NAND integration, pathfinding, and advanced architecture enablement in support of the technology roadmap.

• Drive end-to-end technology development from concept through validation, including learning vehicles, characterization, and technical debugging.

• Resolve complex integration and scaling challenges using structured experimentation, data analysis, AI-assisted insights, and model-based methodologies.

• Define and optimize module and process architecture, including electrical targets, process flows, and design rules, to meet product requirements.

• Collaborate with Device, Probe, Test, Design, and Operations teams to drive performance, yield learning, and execution.

Other Responsibilities

• Drive technical innovation through process improvements, invention disclosures, patents, and publications where applicable.

• Build effective global technical networks and communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain clear experimental records, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.

AI Responsibilities

• Apply AI-enabled data analytics and model-driven methodologies to analyze complex datasets, accelerate learning cycles, and support technical problem-solving.

• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within the role's scope of work.

Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in semiconductor device physics and process integration, with exposure to memory, CMOS/logic, or emerging or embedded memory technologies.

• Experience requirements and job level must be validated before posting.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics, process integration, and process architecture.

• Experience with experiment design, characterization, data analysis, and structured technical problem-solving.

• Ability to connect electrical targets, process flows, design rules, materials, and device concepts to technology outcomes.

• Experience applying advanced data analytics, AI/ML techniques, or model-based methods to engineering datasets.

Must-Have Soft Skills

• Clear technical communication and effective collaboration across cross-functional R&D teams.

• Structured problem-solving and disciplined execution in a complex development environment.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate work across multiple technical functions.

Highly Desirable / Preferred

• Experience in 3D NAND integration, advanced architecture pathfinding, or future-node technology development.

• Demonstrated contributions to technical innovation through patents, publications, or process improvements.
