Design and optimize electromechanical systems including BLDC motors, harmonic drives, and gearboxes. Develop and tune motor control firmware (FOC) in C/C++ for microcontrollers, test and tune motor assemblies, and collaborate with mechanical engineers on joint and thermal design.
As a Mechatronics Specialist/Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing state-of-the-art electromechanical systems. Your expertise will drive the innovation of our motor designs and control systems, enhancing efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Specify, test, and tune BLDC motors, harmonic drives, and customized gearboxes.
- Design motor control firmware (FOC) for maximum efficiency and torque density.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on joint design and thermal management.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of electromechanical systems and motor physics.
- Experience writing firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CAN bus).
