Background & Purpose of the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a brand marketing enthusiast to join the marketing team in Singapore. The role will focus predominantly on our CMC Invest platform and will suit an individual who is up for the challenge of growing a relatively new brand. To be successful in the role, you will need to have experience driving brand and marketing strategies, be adept at managing social media/digital campaigns, be comfortable overseeing performance marketing activations, and managing budgets. While the role will focus on CMC Invest in Singapore, the candidate will be part of a wider team that works across our Invest, CFD and Institutional Connect brands.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist in driving brand, pr, and marketing strategies for CMC Invest in Singapore with a focus on performance marketing, social and digital initiatives, and offline sales & marketing activations.
- Work with the Brand Manager to build and deliver marketing and communications strategies for CMC Invest in Singapore and ongoing growth of brand presence and equity.
- Support the Brand Manager in delivering the annual CMC Invest marketing and communications plans in Singapore, ensuring alignment of marketing campaigns with business and brand objectives.
- Assist in strategic campaign planning, delivery, communications, PR, collateral and material, sponsorship, website management, tactical and creative – ensuring these are engaging, drive performance and within set brand guidelines.
- Work closely with our agency partners to drive cohesive brand & PR campaigns
- Work alongside our digital agencies to ensure media planning across digital, offline and earned media to drive improved brand recall, considering and ultimately acquisition.
- Assist in working with our lifecycle marketing function to attract new share traders in Singapore and retain existing clients
- Assist Brand Manager in building and managing sponsorships and strategic partnerships in Singapore.
- Drive optimal channel and brand mix with media and supporting agencies. Build and deliver relevant and engaging campaign and education content – eBooks, videos, seminars, and webinars as required – with the assistance of in-house and external technical experts.
- Coordinate and execute on client email communications, ensuring internal stakeholders including client facing teams are aware of all outgoing communication tactics.
- Build relationships and collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders from various departments including sales, onboarding, legal & compliance, finance and client services teams, among others, to deliver campaigns.
- Day-to-day reporting and budget management to ensure campaigns are optimised to meet performance targets.
- Facilitate procurement and management of relevant tickets and deadlines.
- Ongoing optimisation and reporting of all campaigns including detailed monthly and quarterly reports on campaign performance – how they performed against set KPIs and stakeholder recommendations for ongoing distribution.
- Review competitor activities; stay up to date with digital advertising and marketing best practice/ innovation to ensure CMC Invest is placed ahead of other providers in achieving business goals.
- Design and build periodic client surveys and distribute results accordingly.
- Other ad hoc marketing supportive tasks as required.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in marketing, preferably with experience in brand marketing
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field of study
- Previous experience building and managing brands
- Experience working with agencies (PR, creative, etc), as well as Product Marketing and Digital Marketing teams
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Project management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate throughout all levels of an organisation both technical and non-technical
