This is an exciting opportunity to join Edelman’s marketing function, which builds and maintains the Edelman brand and reputation, to help drive growth. The marketing function acts as a strategic partner across the Edelman network, collaborating across all areas of the business to drive growth and attract and retain talent.

 

We are seeking a confident and experienced Marketing Manager. This role is for someone with well-rounded B2B marketing experience whose core skill set combines brand and reputation management, digital marketing, event presence and execution, lead generation and employee engagement.

 

In this role, you will work across the entire marketing function to support with the delivery of strategic marketing campaigns and projects. The Marketing Manager will manage and coordinate all day-to-day marketing activity, with a focus on planning, project management, and executing initiatives and campaigns that support the firm’s growth strategy.

 

You will support the APAC Head of Marketing, Global Marketing Function Leads and Global Growth Marketing Specialists to develop and execute the marketing strategy, which helps to drive growth with new and existing clients, and engagement with talent. The role will be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.

Key responsibilities

  • Work alongside the APAC Head of Marketing to execute an APAC marketing and communications strategy that supports Edelman’s business plan and growth strategy.
  • Lead the management of Edelman events in the APAC region (both external- and internal-facing events), navigating teams through the coordination of technical logistics with our IT partners, as well as overall event management processes; the creation and distribution of event communications (including invites, reminders and follow-up comms) and the utilisation of our CRM platform; and the creation of marketing collateral from the event.
  • Manage the implementation of our awards strategy across APAC markets, liaising with and coordinating teams on their submissions to several platforms throughout the year, as well as tracking the work being submitted and strategically focusing on areas for amplification and success.
  • Project management of strategic marketing initiatives across growth marketing, brand reputation, employer brand and employee communications.
  • Provide marketing and communications support across key business projects. This could include copywriting and editing, content generation, social campaign planning, etc.
  • Act as knowledge manager for the marketing function regionally. Manage the packaging and reporting of marketing efforts and projects.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, particularly in a B2B marketing/communications role.
  • Demonstrable project management skills and an innate capacity for organisation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Strong content creation capabilities, with an eye for what creates suitable social/marketing content and how to package it up for online and offline channels.
  • Innate curiosity and strong research capabilities.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to read insights from data and adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • A team player; possesses a friendly, approachable manner with a flexible attitude to work, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, collaboratively across the business and markets.
  • Ability to use own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment, with multiple stakeholders.
