Job description

  • The intern (can be considered on part-time or full-time basis) will be part of the Marketing and Communications team reporting to Head of Marketing and Communications. The intern will work closely within the small team – comprising the Head of Marketing and the Associate Director, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager - to execute branding, and product marketing campaigns, communication pieces across social and digital channels. He or She will craft simple messages, search suitable images from various databases, pull together creative designs for simple collaterals, for social channels and/or create briefs for internal or external partners. 

  • The intern will be exposed to the full spectrum of marketing activities from branding, creative design to digital and social marketing, event management and internal communication and external PR activities. This role also allows for candidate to learn about the insurance business and products in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, and deepening knowledge as a professional marketeer across a few marketing areas.   

Preferred skills

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Chinese (Proficiency in Chinese in addition to English is a plus)
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Some experience in creative design of marketing collaterals, digital ads and other collaterals or digital assets, will be highly considered.    
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and openness in daily work
  • Ability to run with mini projects, or specific tasks, to meet tight timelines for delivery.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate majoring in marketing, communications, new media or business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and create always on social posts and digital assets to support brand awareness campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies for marketing collateral development, translation and website updates
  • Assist in internal communications for marketing and CSR initiatives
  • Research competitor information, for any key learnings. 
  • Support in coordinating CSR activities internally or with partners, for external delivery.
