Responsibilities include designing marketing assets, conducting market research, executing campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, preparing ROI reports, resolving merchant issues, assisting with product testing and user research, configuring loyalty programs, coordinating go-lives, documenting requirements, creating SOPs and training materials, and providing translation and administrative support.
Role Overview
As a Marketing Intern with the EPOS Rewards team, you will support the onboarding and success of SME merchants on our WhatsApp-integrated customer loyalty platform. EPOS Rewards helps businesses attract, engage, and retain customers.
This internship requires your presence at our office in Singapore. Work-from-home arrangements are not available.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing, Market Research, and Design Support
- Design creative assets, conducting CRM market research to provide industry insights for Rewards implementations, and support marketing campaign execution for those implementations.
- Gain valuable exposure supporting marketing campaigns and design requirements for EPOS Rewards merchants’ peak retail season, spanning the year-end holiday season, Christmas, New Year, Chinese Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, etc.
Campaign Operations & Merchant Success
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, click rates, redemption rates, repeat visits) and share actionable insights with merchants
- Prepare simple performance reports to demonstrate ROI to merchant clients
- Proactively identify and resolve merchant issues to drive retention and satisfaction
Product Management and Technical Support
- Assist in product management-related tasks, including testing for feature release, conducting user research, contributing to drafting of product tasks
- Support EPOS Rewards merchants in technical support, including liaising with internal stakeholders to solve issues
Merchant Onboarding & Solution Delivery
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of SME merchants onto EPOS Rewards
- Configure loyalty programme settings in line with each merchant's business needs
- Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams to ensure timely, smooth go-lives
Product & Market Collaboration
- Gather and synthesise merchant feedback to surface product improvement opportunities to the technical team
- Assist in documenting new feature requirements and validating product changes with merchants
Operations & Process Improvement
- Build and maintain SOPs, onboarding guides, and training materials for merchants and internal teams
- Translation support for merchant onboarding and campaign execution
- Support data processing, reporting, and general administrative tasks
- Tasks supporting business requirements, as assigned
