You'll be the senior deputy for Marketing and a key partner to the Head of Marketing & Communications. You'll lead brand, integrated campaigns, content and digital, translating company strategy into a clear marketing agenda and providing senior cover across the function. The role combines strategy, judgement, team leadership and execution: you'll make the prioritisation and investment calls across markets, lead and coach the team, and work closely with our Communications & PR team.

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Translate company strategy into the marketing agenda and provide senior cover across Marketing.
  • Lead and own the integrated plan across brand, campaigns, events, content, digital, sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Make prioritisation and investment decisions across markets and competing stakeholder requests.

Brand, Campaigns and Partnerships

  • Lead brand management priorities and brand expression across experiences and markets.
  • Guide major campaigns, ensuring clear objectives, audiences, ideas, channels and outcomes.
  • Assess sponsorships and partnerships for strategic fit, audience value and activation potential.

Digital and Content

  • Raise digital maturity across the website, customer journeys, channel strategy and performance.
  • Guide content strategy and distribution.

People and Ways of Working

  • Lead and coach team members and senior specialists, and set the operating discipline for the function.
  • Manage agencies and hold them to a high standard.
  • Partner closely with Communications & PR to keep marketing and corporate messaging aligned.

Requirements
  • 12+ years' B2B marketing experience, with leadership across multiple disciplines.
  • Breadth across brand, digital, campaigns and content, with credible sponsorship and partnership experience.
  • Experience leading in-house teams and senior specialists, not only agencies.
  • Experience translating go-to-market priorities into international marketing plans.
  • Clear examples of budget and priority trade-offs you have owned.
  • Senior stakeholder presence and comfort operating in a fast-growing, matrixed organisation.
  • Takes decisions within your remit without escalating, and reduces rather than adds to the load on senior leadership.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in complex B2B technology or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in a business during start-up or rapid expansion.
