Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales & Marketing Executive/Coordinator to join our growing team. This role focuses on hands-on marketing execution with a particular emphasis on market intelligence and analysis, external-facing marketing activities and event management that supports our sales team's objectives. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in customer-facing marketing roles and a proven track record in event coordination and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Work with the central team to generate and qualify marketing leads through events, digital marketing campaigns, and content marketing
  • Support sales team with presentations, marketing materials, case studies, and competitive intelligence
  • Coordinate sales enablement activities and training material development
  • Track and report on lead quality and conversion metrics to optimise marketing efforts
  • Conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and industry dynamics.
  • Gathering and analysing data from various sources, including industry reports, market surveys, consumer, feedback, and competitor analysis.
  • Preparing comprehensive market intelligence reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Staying up to date with industry regulations, economic trends, and technological advancements that may impact the market landscape.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to provide context to sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate the sales pipeline to assess the health of opportunities at various stages.

Marketing Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events including trade shows, webinars, workshops, and networking events
  • Manage event logistics from concept to completion, including coordination, booth setup, and post-event follow-up
  • Create and distribute marketing materials for events and campaigns
  • Support digital marketing initiatives including social media content, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitive insights
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, industry partners, and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate speaking opportunities and thought leadership activities
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of relevant industry events and marketing opportunities

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with sales team to ensure marketing activities generate quality leads and support sales objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, lead generation performance, and event ROI
  • Support other marketing initiatives and campaigns as needed

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in external-facing or customer-facing roles
  • Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Experience with lead generation and sales support activities through marketing channels

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and tactics
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through capabilities
