Group Details:

Tradeweb’s Marketing department is responsible for managing and positioning the Tradeweb brand, as well as the development and execution of strategic programmes that support the growth of Tradeweb’s markets and services. This group is responsible for product marketing, social media, proprietary events, third-party event sponsorships, and the company’s online presence. 


Description of position:

This opportunity is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career, with the opportunity to gain experience. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing based in the UK, and working alongside the Vice President of Product Marketing in Hong Kong, this is a broad product marketing role that involves implementing marketing programmes and ongoing promotional activities for Tradeweb’s marketplaces in APAC. This role offers strong exposure to global product marketing, senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to build deep knowledge of electronic fixed income markets.


The list of responsibilities below, while representative, is not exhaustive and the nature of a small team requires an integrated and flexible approach to the job. As part of this team, you will be a key contributor to the growth of our APAC business.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure that overall marketing and event activity is strategic and aligned with business and brand objectives. 
  • Support Marketing Director to execute targeted marketing programmes that build exposure amongst our existing customer base and increase market penetration of the firm’s markets and services. 
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing contact person in our Singapore office for addressing stakeholders' marketing needs in APAC.
  • Work in collaboration with the Marketing VP to contribute ideas and support the development and deployment of marketing tactics that support the firm’s marketing strategy for the APAC business.

Campaign Execution & Content:

  • Deliver programmes that support objectives and that build brand exposure;
  • Produce, distribute and track marketing content and promotional activities, including videos, client communications, web content, digital advertising, email marketing, content marketing, events, social media, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, communications, compliance, legal, sales, product, tech) and external parties (agencies, industry bodies, event vendors, merch vendors, etc.) throughout the campaign process to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Deliver post-campaign reporting and analysis

Sales & Product Enablement:

  • Assist with the production of sales materials such as sales sheets, web content, email communication, branded merch, etc.
  • Coordinate the rollout of product launches and new functionality, ensuring consistency in messaging and marketing materials.

Events & Partnerships:

  • Help build and support a comprehensive event and conference schedule, including assisting in planning and delivering client appreciation events.
  • Event coordination: assist in the planning and production of industry conferences, events (in-person and virtual) and sponsorships.  

Market & Customer Insight:

  • Develop a good understanding of internal processes and tools, e.g. compliance, legal marketing tools and technology (e.g. email platform, CRM, web analytics), etc. which will form part of the day-to-day work.
  • Conduct client and competitor research to aid marketing campaign development and reporting, and be aware of competitors’ activities, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Keep up with industry news and stay abreast of marketing trends, technologies and best practices. Contribute to innovation within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and proficiency in an Asian language is an advantage
  • University degree, preferably with a marketing major, or other marketing qualification
  • Up to 5 years of marketing experience, preferably with background in financial services and/or technology
  • Product marketing experience, including experience in idea and content creation including videos, content, blogs, social media, digital media, etc.
  • Events and conference planning, logistics, vendor coordination and on-site execution
  • Basic familiarity with marketing analytics, dashboards and CRM or marketing automation platforms
  • Asia Pacific market experiences necessary
  • Experience and knowledge of capital markets / fixed income preferable
  • Experience with managing external marketing vendors and agencies
  • Self-motivated and the willingness to learn/upskill your marketing experience
  • The ability to work on multiple projects with a sense of focus to meet deadlines  
  • Collaborative and inclusive team player with a willingness to help others  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Organised and proactive
  • Comfortable working across APAC countries, cultures and time zones
  • Some travel may be required
