The Morningstar Direct Platform business is one of the largest software units, with a large preexisting user group - still prime for market and wallet share growth globally. For the Direct & Reporting part of the business, this means creating tools that help financial professionals be more efficient, innovative, and connect with their clients in a more meaningful way.
The Role: We are seeking a Campaign Manager for the Regional Marketing team who is eager to help us develop and execute persona campaigns for demand generation in the region. You will be responsible for creating, planning, regionalizing, executing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue aligned to the Morningstar Direct Platform business. You are required to work cross-functionally across the Direct Platform business, central Marketing organization, Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Product, and other teams. You will provide rationalization and guidance to Marketing on prioritizing and devising campaign plans while executing them with regular oversight and reports on progress. You'll work closely with the global campaign manager to design and implement targeted campaigns aimed at specific personas within our existing database. You will be part of the regional marketing team that is based in Singapore (hybrid office attendance required) and will lead and execute regional efforts covering Southeast Asia, Greater China, and Japan.
Responsibilities

  • Build and leverage campaigns to meet pipeline and revenue goals for new and existing business with a focus on persona and industry.


  • Responsible for the coordination, scope, and identification of resources needed to execute marketing programs designed to drive awareness, increase demand, and generate pipeline such as determining what content is relevant to the region, what content should be translated into local language that is used in other parts of the globe, and what content should receive paid promotion.


  • Oversight and coordination of the Asia marketing calendar of campaigns, to ensure operational alignment and efficiencies.


  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to execute integrated marketing campaigns.


  • Regularly report on campaign performance and progress, ensure all programs are adhering to goal setting, ROI, and delivery of success.


  • Support content marketing and thought leadership programs and materials and oversee all promotional planning.


  • Test and measure campaign strategies to optimize performance and marketing channels and analyze campaign KPIs, providing and collecting feedback to various stakeholders for recalibration.


  • Partner with other marketers and campaign managers by sharing best practices.


  • Perform other duties as necessary from time to time.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (additional regional language skills a plus), strong preference for Japanese language


  • 3-5 years' experience in SaaS B2B marketing with a strong emphasis on demand generation, financial industry and/or SaaS/PaaS experience preferred


  • Experience with Bright Talk (or other webinar platforms), and Eloqua (or other campaign management platforms) preferred


  • Experience in creating and executing integrated campaigns, with a demonstrated track record in demand generation programs for high-tech B2B companies.


  • Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation.


  • Hard-working self-starter able to navigate a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment while still providing attention to detail and approaching tasks conscientiously.


  • Highly collaborative player who can plan (think) and execute (do).


  • Ability to think outside of the box and innovate the art of marketing.


  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.


  • Ability to articulate and present plans to sales leaders and executives.


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Curiosity and a mindset for continuous testing and improvement
