Market Development Executive

About the Company 

Our client is a global provider of specialised engineering solutions, serving customers across a wide range of industrial and infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking a Market Development Executive to identify and develop new growth opportunities across Southeast Asia. This role combines market research, strategic account development, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen the company's market presence and build a sustainable pipeline of future business opportunities.

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and target sectors;
  
• Analyse market intelligence and competitor activity to support business development strategies;
  
• Identify, qualify, and develop strategic business opportunities and key accounts;
  
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and other industry stakeholders;
  
• Develop account and opportunity plans to support long-term market penetration;
  
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and customer information within CRM systems;
  
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and marketing teams to support customer engagement and business growth initiatives;
  
• Provide regular updates on market developments, pipeline progress, and business opportunities.
  

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline;
  
• Experience in business development, market development or presales within an engineering industry would be an advantage;
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities;
  
• Experience engaging technical and commercial stakeholders;
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills;
  
• Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working independently in a regional role.
  

• This role may require travel within the region to develop new markets;
