Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking a IT Executive to join the client's team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for IT systems and infrastructure on maritime vessels
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on board
- Assist in managing and maintaining satellite communication systems and marine data networks
- Participate in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
- Assist in conducting regular maintenance and perform system updates
- Provide training and technical support to crew members on IT systems and applications
- Assist in implementing security measures to protect vessels from cyber threats
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address IT needs
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience in providing technical support for IT systems and infrastructure
- Knowledge of maritime operations and regulations will be an advantage
- Familiarity with satellite communication systems and marine data networks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to travel and work on maritime vessels as required
