Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking a IT Executive to join the client's team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for IT systems and infrastructure on maritime vessels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on board
  • Assist in managing and maintaining satellite communication systems and marine data networks
  • Participate in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
  • Assist in conducting regular maintenance and perform system updates
  • Provide training and technical support to crew members on IT systems and applications
  • Assist in implementing security measures to protect vessels from cyber threats
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address IT needs

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience in providing technical support for IT systems and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of maritime operations and regulations will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with satellite communication systems and marine data networks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to travel and work on maritime vessels as required
