Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a dedicated and proactive Marine Assistant HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) to join our client's team. In this critical role, you will assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all marine operations. Your efforts will contribute significantly to promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management systems.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections on vessels to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions related to HSE policies and procedures.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Keep up to date with industry HSE regulations and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and HSE standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
