As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You'll work closely with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, and you'll use engineering principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Your expertise in lean principles, automation, and continuous improvement will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and achieving higher levels of productivity and cost-effectiveness. You'll develop and use test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies to identify root cause issues and solutions that ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing Engineer - Test)

Develop, Implement & Maintain Test Procedures

Create and sustain Mayan Test Procedures for testing PVD/CVD/PC chambers.
Ensure test documentation is accurate, updated, and compliant with standards.
Gathers Mayan test data and evaluates results; may takes corrective/continuous improvement actions.

Production Support

Provide technical assistance to resolve production issues and enable timely system shipments.
Collaborate with Operations and Test teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
Test Fixture Development & Deployment

Coordinate with CTE, Ops, and cross-functional teams to design, validate, and deploy test fixtures.
Ensure fixtures meet functional requirements and are properly integrated into production.
Continuous Improvement

Drive projects to reduce standard labor hours, eliminate scrap/rework waste, and improve efficiency.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize processes.

Product Transition & Manufacturing Readiness

Attend product transition meetings, review scope, and ensure manufacturing readiness.
Facilitate readiness for Mayan Test Procedures, Jigs & test fixtures, tooling, Facilities Etc...

Field Escalation & CAPA

Engage with Test Engineers, Customers, suppliers, Ops, and DEA to resolve field escalations.
Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for systemic issues.

DMR Disposition & Supplier Issue Resolution

Timely disposition of Production DMRs and address supplier-related issues.
Drive suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Safety & Compliance

Perform Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) for test activities and maintain JHA throughout the manufacturing cycle.
Assess and perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); create and maintain LOTO maps for test bays.
 

Requirements

  • Min 3 years of experiences as Manufacturing Engineer in semiconductor/ electronics or engineering industries

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications

  • Able to work with any levels of stakeholders globally

  • Able to attend global meetings of different time zones

  • Project management experiences would be an added advantage

  • Microsoft excel and Tableau

  • Good Communication
