Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? This role offers the opportunity to apply your process engineering expertise to support new product introductions, optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and contribute to the success of the Jurong site. Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, equipment, and systems.

  • Provide technical expertise during audits and inspections.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or Bio-chemical, or Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (for senior engineer grade). Fresh graduate with good honours degree can be considered for junior engineer grade.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or heavy/fine chemical manufacturing industry.

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies, and DMAIC problem solving approach

  • Experience with process equipment design, operation, troubleshooting, commissioning and qualification

  • Knowledge of utility systems such as purified water, compressed air, and HVAC.
