Edelman has a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, collaborative communicator to take the next step in their career and join dynamic corporate and integrated communications accounts as a Manager.

We’re a team of dedicated professionals and experts with backgrounds in earned media, digital media, creative strategy, consulting, and integrated communications marketing.We help our clients build their brands and achieve their business goals while navigating shifting media and industry environments.

What your responsibilities and capabilities should cover:

  • Understand clients’ businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders: consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other businesses/organisations, etc. 

  • Drive proactive management of client relationships.

  • Lead research, planning, creative ideation, and development of comprehensive integrated communications campaigns. 

  • Ability to manage projects, as well as teams, on multiple accounts.  

  • Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc. 

  • Track and monitor project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual) and meet client revenue targets. 

  • Grows accounts organically by introducing clients to relevant Edelman capabilities, including resources outside of the group, to advance their business goals. 

  • Grow network of industry clients and participates in relevant professional organisations and networking activities that will grow Edelman’s brand recognition and own reputation. 

  • Initiate new business processes, including identifying new business opportunities and helping lead the RFP response process  

  • Display strong presentation skills. 

  • Mentor, coach and support team members and ensures staff develop abilities through Edelman Learning Institute and other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring.

What is required of you:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, and/or related fields, including research, media, or publishing.

  • Superior writing and verbal communications skills, specifically writing to persuade.

  • Strong media relations across local, regional and international titles.

  • Effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others’ work.

  • Strong understanding of current affairs and global trends, with a focus on Asia / South East Asia region and the ability to draw insights from this understanding to counsel clients. 

  • Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends and demonstrates an understanding of how they integrate into integrated marketing programs. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
