The Corporate Communications Office (CCO) enhances NTU’s reputation by raising awareness of the University’s vision, mission, and achievements in education, research, and innovation.  

CCO is home to a world-class team of communicators that has won international, regional and local awards in public relations, marketing and communication.

We are looking for an experienced designer to join us as Manager, Visual Communications and help shape how NTU is seen and experienced across Singapore and beyond. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the University's brand and communication design function. Reporting to the Creative Lead, Visual Communication, you will:

  • Conceptualise and produce design outputs across print and digital formats, including campaign visuals, publications, event materials, EDMs, web visuals and presentation assets.

  • Create motion graphics, animations and support video editing for campaigns, presentations and digital platforms.

  • Design web UI elements, including landing pages, banners and EDMs, ensuring visual consistency across digital platforms.

  • Uphold NTU brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of visual craft, consistency and attention to detail across all outputs.

  • Contribute to creative development, improve production workflows, and explore emerging tools such as generative AI, immersive media and interactive design.

  • Work closely with the Creative Lead, designers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver well-crafted, future-ready visual communications.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Multimedia Design or a related discipline. Diploma holders with extensive years of relevant experience may be considered.

  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in visual communication, graphic design, digital media, motion graphics or a related creative role. Experience in a higher education or large organizational environment is advantageous.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects. Familiarity with Figma and digital production workflows is required.

  • Strong design judgement, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and meeting timelines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A portfolio showcasing a strong range of print, digital and motion work is required.
