Job Description

We are looking for a commercially driven Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy and execution across our warehousing and B2B distribution business. This role will be responsible for developing competitive, data-driven pricing models that optimize revenue, improve margins and support business growth while remaining aligned with market dynamics and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement pricing frameworks for warehousing, transportation, and value-added logistics services 

  • Establish pricing guidelines, approval processes and governance structures 

  • Continuously review and refine pricing strategies based on market trends and cost fluctuations 

2. Commercial Support & Tender Management

  • Lead pricing for RFQs, RFPs, and contract renewals 

  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to structure competitive proposals 

  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for large deals and strategic accounts 

3. Costing & Margin Optimization

  • Build detailed cost models for warehouse operations (storage, handling, manpower) and B2B deliveries 

  • Analyze profitability at customer and product levels 

  • Identify opportunities to improve margins through pricing adjustments and cost efficiencies 

4. Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Leverage data analytics to monitor pricing performance, win/loss ratios and margin trends 

  • Use market intelligence and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness 

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Finance and Product to align pricing with cost structures and service capabilities 

  • Support product development and new service offerings with pricing insights 

6. Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive improvements in pricing tools, automation and standardization 

  • Ensure accurate pricing data management within internal systems 

Education/Certificates:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Commerce / Economics / Supply Chain Management / Logistics 

 Requirements:

- Minimally 3–5 years’ experience in:

  • Pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management or cost-to-serve analytics 

  • Logistics, warehousing, 3PL, freight forwarding or distribution

 

- Commercial & Pricing Expertise

  • Strong understanding of cost-to-serve modelling 

  • Ability to design and maintain pricing frameworks and rate cards 

  • Experience building pricing models for complex service bundles 

 

- Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (mandatory) 

    • Pivot tables, Power Query, scenario modelling 

  • Ability to work with large datasets (customers, SKUs, warehouse activity) 

 

- Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to translate operational costs into commercial pricing logic 

  • Developing pricing strategies aligned with: 

    • Capacity utilisation 

    • Network optimisation 

    • Customer segmentation 

 

- Business & Stakeholder Skills

  • Strong business partnering with Sales, Ops and Finance 

  • Comfortable presenting pricing recommendations to senior leadership 

  • Negotiation support experience 

 

- Operational Knowledge (Warehousing & Distribution)

  • Understanding of: 

    • Warehouse processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch) 

    • Labour productivity metrics 

    • Storage utilisation and slotting logic 

    • Transportation and distribution cost drivers 

  • Awareness of automation impact on cost structures (e.g. WMS, robotics) 

 

- Personal Attributes

  • Highly detail-oriented 

  • Commercially minded with strong numeracy 

  • Structured thinker with ability to simplify complex pricing logic 

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven RFQ environments
