Manulife Distribution is looking for a self-motivated Recruitment Business Development Team Lead, who is obsessed with delivering value, is forward-thinking, and excited to see the successful implementation of initiatives and program they deliver. The role to drive recruitment and productive net manpower growth for Manulife Agency and Manulife FA channel.

We are looking for someone with:   

  • Management of Manulife Agency and Manulife FA manpower, retention and recruitment
  • Planning and organising career seminars and other recruitment related activities
  • Administration and monitoring of onboarding process for new agents
  • Explore new avenues for various recruitment modes, including salaried model, social media recruitment, etc
  • Drive recruitment by ensuring recruitment schemes, program and marketing collaterals is in line with the market

Nice to Haves:    

  • Degree from any recognized University                                                                                      
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in life insurance industry with agency recruitment and agency management role.
  • Good understanding of the agency channel
  • Strong leadership; ability to lead, coach and supervise a team
  • Great people skills; ability to build good rapport with different stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MS Word & MS Powerpoint
  • Creative and has good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player that is highly driven and independent

On the job you will:  

  • Collation of relevant manpower / campaign reports for management reporting and strategic planning
  • Business papers for campaigns / programs / onboarding initiatives
  • Able to engage partners from various levels (agents / managers / directors / colleagues from cross functions and divisions)
