Key Responsibilities:
 

Sourcing & Supplier Selection

  • Lead strategic and tactical sourcing activities for CMs and suppliers in line with business and category strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new CMs and suppliers to enhance cost, capability, capacity, and supply resilience.
  • Conduct RFQ/RFP processes, cost benchmarking, and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Drive sourcing decisions for NPDs, resourcing, dual sourcing, and supply risk mitigation initiatives.
     

Contract Manufacturer (CM) & Supplier Management

  • Act as single point of ownership for assigned CMs and suppliers.
  • Manage performance across cost, quality, service level, lead time, and capacity.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, cost breakdown reviews, and continuous cost improvement initiatives.
  • Drive regular performance reviews, KPI scorecards, and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Coordinate production planning, capacity alignment, and issue resolution to ensure stable supply.
     

Project, NPD & Qualification Management

  • Lead CM- and supplier-related projects, including NPD execution, SKU transfer, and network optimization.
  • Own CM and supplier readiness for NPDs, BOM costing, tooling, trials, validation, and ramp-up to mass production.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, QA, Commercial, Planning, and Logistics to meet project milestones and launch timelines.
  • Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
     

Procurement & Operations Excellence

  • Support annual price reviews, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
  • Ensure CM and supplier compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, quality investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
     

Key Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required, including to Southeast Asia (SEA), India, China & Others
  • Proficiency in English & Mandarin is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing or procurement roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in sourcing and managing Contract Manufacturers and suppliers is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in RFQ/RFP, cost negotiation, and CM/supplier selection.
  • Experience supporting NPDs and new supplier/CM qualification.
  • FMCG, consumer goods, OEM/ODM, or manufacturing experience preferred.
     

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sourcing and commercial negotiation capability.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
  • Solid CM and supplier ownership mindset.
  • Structured project execution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
