What you’ll do

We're seeking a savvy, Performance Marketing Manager to significantly accelerate our customer acquisition efforts and scale Airwallex across Singapore and our Southeast Asia markets. You are strategic and hands-on, directly building, launching and optimising campaigns in-platform (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager) — including analysing performance trends, writing ad copy and briefing new creative — with day-to-day media buying managed in-house (not via an agency). This is a truly career-defining opportunity to drive major impact in one of the world’s fastest growing tech companies. You'll work closely with our marketing, commercial and strategy teams, becoming instrumental in our growth by directly managing and optimising our digital ad investment in-platform across SEA.

You will join the Airwallex Marketing team during a critical period of rapid growth. We are building a team that enables both global consistency in process, tooling, and methodology, alongside local flexibility and speed in execution. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of Airwallex’s trajectory.

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive B2B Growth Marketing strategy across all channels (including online and offline) to acquire and retain customers, ensuring initiatives are aligned with broader business objectives.

  • Accelerate performance marketing – work with the global marketing team to plan, build, launch and optimise online performance campaigns in-house across SEM, paid social, display and ABM advertising.

  • Own end-to-end, in-house campaign management across Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn: account structure, audience/keyword setup, creative and copy, bids and budgets, QA, launch, daily optimisation and pacing to CAC/LTV targets.

  • Independently own, allocate and optimise budgets across multiple channels, ensuring a clear view of expected return on investment (ROI).

  • Drive continuous testing and iteration across all performance marketing initiatives, including A/B testing ad creative, landing pages, and audience targeting to maximise ROI.

  • Set up, maintain and troubleshoot measurement and tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, platform pixels), including offline conversion uploads and CRM integrations, ensuring data quality and attribution integrity.

  • Unpack and optimise "thumb-stopping" digital performance creative, working closely with design and content teams to develop high-performing assets that capture attention and drive conversions.

  • Analyse performance rigorously, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation. Proactively iterate based on early findings and ongoing data analysis.

  • Utilise data to inform strategy and execution, with strong skills in data extraction and manipulation using tools like SQL and deep analytical capabilities within platforms like Looker.

  • Share your knowledge and expertise with more junior team members, providing mentorship, guidance and support within the performance marketing function.

  • Communicate performance marketing progress and insights across the wider marketing team, proactively handling questions and aligning your activities with other channel leads for maximum impact.

  • Hands-on, in-platform expertise operating Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager — not just agency/vendor oversight.

  • Experience managing campaigns in-house across multiple SEA markets, with direct ownership of budgets and pacing.

  • A customer-first approach that allows you to tailor campaigns and communications to specific audience segments and profiles.
