ROLE PROFILE:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Fusion R2R Manager for Fin within the London Stock Exchange Group, providing solution expertise on Oracle cloud ERP 

ROLE SUMMARY:
LSEG are embarking on a finance transformation programme, delivering our finance vision, and transforming the way we work to create value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The programme shall drive efficiencies and maximise benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based enterprise resource planning and performance management supplier for billing and accounting (ERPM).

As the Oracle R2R Manager, your 10-14 years of experience will guide the strategic management and implementation of our new Oracle cloud systems and support the existing Oracle R2R modules including “General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub and PPM”. Your role encompasses developing functional and technical solutions and leading a team to align these with integrations with our business objectives, ensuring efficiency and operational excellence.

The role sits within the Corporate Technology Delivery function, and you will play a key role in the global ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) team at LSEG. The role holder will collaborate across the multiple workstreams to focus on the end-to-end implementation phases of Oracle ERP solution working in an agile environment.

 

The role will focus on steering numerous business and technology projects, particularly in the context of our ERP platforms in the finance sector
 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Extensive support in implementing, testing and Managing Oracle Financial Modules including GL, FA, FAH and Project Accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties in Implementing Oracle Fusion Application.
  • Support the current R2R and drive the transformation seamlessly.
  • High level Support on any integrations and data migrations during implementation cycle.
  • Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.
  • Support the team as Revenue and Bill Management module lead for production support.
  • Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, integrated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
  • Leads and analyses business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
  • Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.
  • Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Experience in Solution Design; Preparing specification documentation; Designing process workflow; Identifying and resolving Gaps; Providing functional inputs for specifications, business process, and Post implementation Support.
  • Expertise in reconciliation of Sub-ledger modules with module.
  • System administration skills include defining request groups, responsibilities, users, assigning responsibilities to user setup of profile options and maintaining concurrent programs.
  • Experienced in Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Accounting Setup Manager, Multi Org Access Control (MOAC).
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in building and giving presentations to business partners
  • Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills, including ability to function proactively by anticipating priorities and requirements of team stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations; must be extremely flexible and have a strong aptitude to manage competing priorities and ensure critical follow-up of initiatives
  • Proficient in the use of desktop tools and software for presentations, consolidation of data and process mapping, e.g., MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

 

 

YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10-14 years of experience relevant to this position including 7 years of consulting experience in Oracle Fusion.
  • Minimum 4 implementations of Oracle R2R module and 4 years of support experience in modules like GL, FA, FAH,Tax and Project Accounting. Minimum 3 modules from the above is mandatory.
  • Minimum 7 years of cloud implementation experience for Multi-Million Dollar businesses.
  • Oracle GL,FA and FAH cloud configuration experience is mandatory. Experience in independently designing, configuring and implementing minimum 3 modules within R2R track.
  • Rich experience in monthly and quarterly book close and IT Audit
    • Project Accounting experience.
    • Experience in other subledgers (AP,AR,RMB,BM,EPM) module is a good to have.
  • Business process experience in the following areas:
    • Oracle Fusion General Ledger
    • Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets
    • Oracle Financial Accounting Hub

Preferred
• Background in working across several different sectors both business and IT related projects/programs. 
• Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
