Job Description
- Provide L2/L3 production support for mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability and service stability.
- Monitor application health, batch processes, file transfers, interfaces, and production services; investigate and resolve issues within SLA.
- Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation to development or infrastructure teams when required.
- Work closely with business users, development, infrastructure, and vendors to resolve production incidents and minimize business impact.
- Ensure successful completion of daily End-of-Day (EOD) and batch processing activities across multiple applications and countries.
- Support system maintenance activities, including application validation and service recovery after patching or infrastructure changes.
- Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and support business continuity requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, monitoring, automation, and production support practices.
- Prepare operational, audit, and ad-hoc reports as required.
- 5 years of experience in Application Production Support, IT Operations, or Production Services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Web Services, Microservices, Oracle, UNIX/Linux, IBM MQ, Control-M, and Splunk.
- Solid knowledge of SWIFT products, including Alliance Access (SAA), Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH), SWIFT GPI, SAG, and SNL.
- Experience supporting mission-critical banking or financial services applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with ITIL processes, batch operations, monitoring tools, and Disaster Recovery testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 support environment.
