Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex electrical projects / multiple jobs
Work on electrical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets
Lead and manage M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes
Identify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies
Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing
Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding
Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills
Mentor and coach junior peers across the M&E discipline
Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)
At least 7 years of experience from an engineering consulting environment is preferred
Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage
Experience leading roles for design & design management of residential, commercial, institutional or hotel projects
Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
Competent user of relevant engineering software
Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
