Reporting to the Assistant Director – E-Commerce Projects, this position will lead the end‑to‑end project management of all eCommerce‑related initiatives. This includes but is not limited to: platform development and enhancements, WeChat integration, campaign website development, social media platform integrations, booking engine enhancements, and customer data platform integrations and updates.
This role will be responsible for managing and delivering new and ongoing digital projects on time and within budget. The role requires regular collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, external agencies, and consultants to ensure all work aligns with the latest branding, technical, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of Digital & E-commerce projects and work with key stakeholders to implement new platforms, maintain existing platforms and support change request through an Agile/Scrum approach.
- Define and manage project scope, risk assessment, resource management, develop and manage project timeline and manage cost estimation and monitoring of budget
- Co-ordinate communication and project integration between departments.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate development of new platforms, enhancements and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Discuss, plan and brainstorm ideas, user experiences, and technical requirements to help enhance user experiences and drive new business.
- Support and plan on UAT for digital projects along with internal stakeholders’ communications as necessary.
- Manage, QC and delivery supervision of outside vendors as necessary.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to prepare proposals and weekly updates.
- Produce and communicate internal and external project status reports and maintain all necessary project documentation.
- Support all other e-commerce related projects, and provide certain administrative tasks as advised by the department head and line manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in E-Commerce, Information System, Business, Digital Media or related subjects
- Certified in either PMP / PRINCE II / Scrum / Agile or other equivalent certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience in Project Management with IT/digital projects.
- Possesses a deep understanding and solid experience for planning methodology, End-to-End process of E-Commerce Business and project lifecycle.
- Proven track record of delivery multi-stakeholder projects in complex environments.
- Solid experience in the development of a consumer facing digital platforms.
- Solid experience in the development of WeChat Mini Programs.
- Solid experience in the setup / integration of hotel booking engines and relating platforms.
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communications.
- A committed team player, responsible, self-driven individual with confident and outgoing personality.
- Proactive, self-directed and can work independently.
- Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skill, fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Experience with Adobe AEM, AT and CDP is preferred.
- Knowledge on UI/UX, AI and new technologies will be an advantage.
