JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a quick-learning, initiative-driven, and detail-oriented Manager, Business Operations and Contracts Management to support critical functions related to existing and new Submarine Network Systems.

You will work closely with various stakeholders within Keppel and work closely with joint build partners/landing parties in APAC, North America and Europe.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and drive results.

You are curious, with a growth mindset and would like to make a difference in the digital infrastructure space, specifically the submarine network world.

Job Description:

  • Build and develop business operations processes to support existing Submarine build and support new Submarine Network Systems

  • Contract governance: Ensure that all areas of contracts are enforced and carried out (e.g., purchases of relevant insurance, relevant services etc. across main submarine agreements, supply contracts, landing service contracts etc.)

  • Contract execution: Manage onboarding of new vendors, invoices, payments etc. by partnering with both internal finance and external stakeholders for Submarine Network System projects

  • Drive all yearly renewals related to the submarine network project, from approval, budgeting to execution

  • Support O&M team to track all annual renewals that need to be processed

  • Support Leadership team in monthly key updates, quarterly board meetings etc. and drive the team/internal stakeholders in collation of data, information distribution etc.

  • Drive contracts housekeeping and organization internally to optimize efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in digital or communications infrastructure sectors preferred: e.g., subsea cable systems, terrestrial networks, cable landing stations, colocations etc.

  • Strong experience in contract management, including understanding how complex agreements are structured, flow through and executed.

  • Experienced in managing budget, cashflow for operations for large complex global project

  • Experience in business operations, setting up new processes or customer success role

  • Effective written and communication skills, required
