[What the role is]

Manager, Vehicle Quota & Registration

[What you will be working on]

You will report to the Deputy Director, Vehicle Registration & Quota, and oversee the day-to-day operations of all matters related to the vehicle quota and registration of motor vehicles, including e-scooters, in Singapore.

You will conduct regular reviews of operational policies and vehicle schemes, and formulate strategies for the effective implementation of works relating to the bidding and allocation of Certificates of Entitlement, vehicle ownership and registration, collection of vehicle taxes and fees, refunds and schemes, and vehicle registration numbers.

You will need to liaise with representatives from external parties and support internal stakeholders on matters pertaining to vehicle quota and registration.

You must be able to manage complex feedback, complaints, and appeals from customers, and guide and assess staff's evaluations on such issues. This includes providing advice to the public and external agencies on vehicle quota and registration matters and schemes.

You will be expected to manage your team's performance and ensure quality deliverables by guiding staff with their assigned tasks, reviewing their performance, and identifying their training needs.

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in any discipline
  • At least 5 years of operations management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • High cognitive and analytical ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic operations environment.

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and /or undergo further assessment.
