[What the role is]

[LTA-PT] MANAGER, STREET-HAIL OPERATIONS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the Point-to-Point (P2P) Transport division overseeing the street-hail and ride-hail industry. The P2P sector complements our Public Transport through the provision of a safe and reliable means of point-to-point service and supports our car-lite vision by reducing the need for car ownership.
In the course of your work, you will manage the daily street-hail services operations of licenced street-hail operators and their services, ensuring compliance to the existing regulations to safeguard passengers’ and drivers’ safety and interest. You will also monitor development of the industry and apprise the management with operational insights for the evaluation and implementation of vehicular-level policies and schemes. In addition, you will manage the application of taxi and taxi-related registrations, manage the provision, upgrading and abolishment of taxi facilities and the issuance of permits for cross-border taxis.
Besides liaising with many stakeholders from taxi operators and drivers’ associations, you will play an active role coordinating with various government agencies such as Ministry of Transport, Public Transport Council, and different departments within LTA. As you will be working in a fast-paced and exciting environment, ground situational awareness and stakeholder management skills will be key in succeeding in this role.

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in any discipline.
     

  • At least 5 years of working experience in operations and/or data analysis preferred.
     

  • Strong communication, writing, presentation, and analytical skills required.
     

  • Meticulous, independent, resourceful, self-motivated and a good team player who is able to work under tight deadlines.

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
