[LTA-ITCD] SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER/ PRODUCT MANAGER

[What the role is]

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the in-house geospatial team managing a suite of geospatial products that serve LTA’s internal and external stakeholders. As part of LTA’s digital transformation journey, the product aims to change the way LTA plan, design, build and operate land transport assets and services by unlocking the question of “where”. You will be part of this exciting journey to shape and grow the product.

Product Management

Manage product roadmap and deliverables, ensuring alignment with product vision, user needs and strategic objectives. Understand business needs and participate/lead in business process engineering/service journey to optimise business processes and shape user behaviour. Drive the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of quality features that are value to users.

Driving User Growth

Drive user adoption and growth through increased engagements such as conducting brownbag/clinic sessions, hackathons and publicity events to spur user interests. Maintain a wide network with both internal and external stakeholders to seek opportunities for product collaborations. Participate in internal and external events to raise awareness of the product and grow user base.

Change Management

Drive/support change management and engagement efforts such as getting buy-in from key stakeholders, in preparation for product release. Lead/conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve the product. Lead/support the product rollout strategy and evaluate performance by analysing data and user insights for continuous improvements.

Uplifting Digital Literacy

Lead the development and review of digital competency framework for geospatial track. Collaborate with external trainers and/or in-house geospatial team to conduct training for different user segments (e.g. masses, power users, citizen developers, senior management).

[What we are looking for]

● Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

● At least 7 years’ IT experience with at least 5 years in customer-facing roles

● Experience developing geospatial products, planning tools, or modelling systems.

● Familiarity with spatial data (GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, editing, geospatial APIs, 3D/2D mapping).

● Able to work with complex demographics, land-use, and transport data.

● Product mindset with the ability to translate planning and operational questions into functional tools and datasets.

● A strong interest in driving business change using technology and data

● Working experience with Agile Methodology and design thinking

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills

● Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team

● Candidates with more experience might be considered for senior roles
