[LTA-IDE] PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR/ EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, STATION REJUVENATION DESIGN
[What the role is]
PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR/ EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, STATION REJUVENATION DESIGN[What you will be working on]
Singapore's rail network is the backbone of how millions of people move through the city every day — and in this role, you will play a meaningful part in shaping the quality of that experience.
You will go beyond conventional project management to critically examine and improve the built environment at existing MRT stations. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will identify and drive meaningful improvements across our rail network — translating insights into built outcomes that serve our commuters for decades to come.
As part of the Station Rejuvenation Design team, you will design manage consultants to develop preliminary designs that meet the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders, while devising strategies to address overcrowding and enhance station accessibility and vibrancy.
You will take the lead on transforming how commuters experience our rail network, overseeing station rejuvenation projects from concept through to implementation. Working at the intersection of design, engineering, and stakeholder collaboration, you will shape enhancements that address real challenges — easing congestion, improving accessibility, and giving ageing stations a new lease of life.
Your responsibilities will include design managing engineering studies, securing planning approvals, safeguarding railway corridors, and keeping projects on budget and on schedule. You will additionally steer the tender evaluation and award process for consultants and contractors.
