As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the transportation of Micron’s shipment (includes Finished Goods, Semi-Finished products, equipment, raw material, etc), participating in the re-engineering of logistic processes, and analyzing the global operations logistics network to help devise a logistics strategy to optimize delivery while meeting the service requirements, costs effectiveness, regulatory standards and operational targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Transportation of Finished Goods, Capital, Raw Material and Non-Finished Goods for Micron
  • Work with cross functional teams and external providers to optimize shipment mode, freight routing and service & cost performance
  • Optimizing / Re-engineering logistics process to improve delivery performance, transportation network and shipment quality.
  • Analyze sophisticated data (Logistics and Finished Good Flow) to drive business process improvement projects
  • Understand complex business flow, apply analytical thinking and market knowledge make decisions that make sense based on available data
  • Provide guidance, training and support to set up new FG sites or shipping sites to ensure process alignment
  • Daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and cross functional teams

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Strong numeracy and analytic skill with strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to grasp concept fast
  • Strong communication/relationship-building skills; excellent presentation and a team player
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI) will be added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Background in logistics and SAP will be added advantage
