Job Description

The Senior Specialist of Transformation, Logistics, supports and executes transformation initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and agility of logistics operations. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, this role plays a critical part in delivering structural, process, and strategic changes. The Senior Specialist works cross-functionally with teams such as Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations to implement high-impact projects that align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of transformation projects within logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and effectively track progress against milestones.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Utilise project management methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor project performance, analyse results, and deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, scalability, and agility.

Change Management and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions for structural and process changes.

  • Promote a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement within the logistics team.

  • Collaborate on the alignment of new processes and structures with business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, HR, Product, and Operations teams to ensure the successful execution of transformation initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to secure alignment and support for projects.

Data-Driven Insights and Reporting:

  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for operational improvement and measure the success of transformation efforts.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to leadership on progress and results.

  • Use insights to refine strategies and ensure continuous improvement.


Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of delivering impactful outcomes in complex environments

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, preferably within marketplace models or large-scale logistics operations.

  • Familiarity with organisational design and change management practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse, global teams and navigate cross-cultural environments.

  • Experience or knowledge of logistics operations is a plus

  • PMP certification is a plus
