Overview of the role:

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Live Events Manager to take charge of our most prestigious live events. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and love seeing your projects come to life, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and elevating live events across Europe, ensuring every detail is perfect. This role combines creativity, operational expertise, and strong stakeholder management, and will require some evening and weekend work.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of live events, from initial proposal to post-event reporting and analysis.

  • Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed expectations.

  • Set clear timelines, priorities, and goals for every project, keeping everyone on track.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, venues, and partners.

  • Oversee operational and administrative functions to ensure smooth execution.

  • Travel to on-site inspections and manage events in person.

  • Manage budgets, approve spend, and report on financial performance.

  • Ensure every event delivers excellent customer service and high-quality experiences.

  • Lead and mentor one direct report, with scope to grow the team.

  • Keep event websites up to date with the latest information.

  • Coordinate with marketing and internal teams to promote events effectively.

  • Conduct post-event debriefs and produce actionable reports.

  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on budgeting, hotels, and supplier contracts.

  • Develop creative ideas to make our live events stand out and exceed expectations.

This is a high-profile, hands-on role where your work will be visible, impactful, and highly valued. You’ll have the chance to innovate, lead, and deliver events that set the standard for excellence in live poker experiences across Europe.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of events management experience.

  • Excellent project management, organisational, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across teams.

  • Confident, friendly, and approachable personality.

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-moving environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel across Europe.

  • Passion for delivering outstanding live events.

  • Strong report writing skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in online or live poker events.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access.

  • Marketing and brand exposure experience.

  • Additional languages.

  • People management experience.

  • Familiarity with live event suppliers.
