The Liquidity Manager will oversee liquidity management, capital allocation, and banking relationships, focusing on effective fund movement and comprehensive reporting.
We are looking for a Liquidity Manager to join our Business Operations team. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible oversee liquidity management, capital deployment, and enhancing relevant banking relationships, ensuring effective fund movement and reporting. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focusing on liquidity management for all needs across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Active tracking and management of capital allocations and forecasting capital requirements to effectively manage liquidity needs
- Lead regular liquidity forecast meetings and maintain active communication with all stakeholders
- Manage deployment of excess capital into yield-generating venues in line with treasury mandate
- Research and evaluate yield opportunities across DeFi and TradFi spaces
- Orchestrate liquidity positioning across fiat and crypto rails to meet varying operational demands
- Develop frameworks for systematic capital rebalancing across different liquidity requirement buckets
- Design and implement processes to manage collateral requirements for margin positions
- Establish and maintain institutional relationships to facilitate efficient fund movements
- Provide regular cash-based reporting and reconciliation with finance team
- Design and implement automation frameworks for capital management processes
Required experience and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a Treasury and/or Operations role within a trading or fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Keen interest and demonstrated track record in liquidity management particularly within the crypto market
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Deep understanding of crypto markets, capital markets and trading operations
Technical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (required)
- Python programming (Preferred)
- Experience with blockchain explorers and DeFi protocols (Preferred)
- Familiarity with treasury management systems and automation tools
