This position is responsible for implementing the strategic plans and management of the bank’s life insurance referral activities for driving sustainable growth through a structured business approach, as well as to provide case support to our clients across all markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively build strong and trusting partnerships with Front Office Management, Bankers and other specialists in developing and executing the insurance referral management strategy and plans

  • Develop pipeline opportunities and present internally our panel of brokers to Bankers on insurance planning initiatives

  • Provide case support to Bankers and clients of Bank of Singapore including advising on planning strategies.

  • Attend meetings with clients, Bankers and our panel brokers with the view of addressing client liquidity needs. For avoidance of doubt, the role does not involve the provision of insurance advice or recommendations to clients and discussions are as part of broader wealth planning discussions.

  • Travel to support the insurance referral management strategy and plans and adhering to the applicable cross boarder marketing guidelines of the Bank

  • Conduct regular reviews/feedback to relevant Product Management team for developing and enhancing our insurance referral capabilities targeted at our focused client segments

  • Conduct regular trainings and updates on insurance solutions related topics to Bankers and other related stakeholders 

  • Develop network of professionals, legal and tax consultants, external advisors that builds an eco-system of service providers to meet client’s needs   

    Qualifications
    • 6-10 years of insurance advisory (broker referral model) or wealth planning experience in private banking is highly preferred

    • Comprehensive knowledge of life insurance products and relevant regulations 

    • Good interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a diversified client base.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to details

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
