As we continue to scale internationally, we are seeking a pragmatic, commercially minded Legal Counsel to join us. This role will serve as a vital business partner, driving our commercial deals and safeguarding our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and corporate governance issues.
  • Lead and manage relationships with external legal advisers and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across key markets including Hong Kong and the UK.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents critical to business operations.
  • Support product development by advising on regulatory risks and legal requirements.
  • Manage legal risks and develop policies to promote legal and regulatory compliance within the organisation.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and manage any legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Hong Kong, the UK, or equivalent jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of legal experience, preferably within fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to fintech and payments in Hong Kong and the UK.
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
