Role Overview

We are seeking a Trainer to represent Onyx in delivering high-quality programmes and product demonstrations. The role involves engaging external audiences through workshops, podcasts, webinars, and industry events, as well as providing client demos of the Flux platform. Candidates must come from the energy or trading industry (financial market experience will also be considered), be proficient in both Mandarin and English, and possess working knowledge of Python to support training delivery and product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

Training & Representation

  • Deliver training programmes to external clients, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with industry needs.
  • Represent Onyx as a subject matter expert through podcasts, webinars, conferences, and other industry-facing platforms.
  • Simplify and present complex trading and market concepts in a professional and accessible manner.
  • Gather and review participant feedback to continuously enhance training effectiveness.

Product Training & Demonstration

  • Conduct demos of the Flux platform for clients in both Mandarin and English, supporting onboarding and adoption.
  • Provide training sessions to help clients integrate Flux into their workflows.
  • Work with the business development team to align demos and training delivery with client requirements.
  • Act as a representative of Onyx in client interactions, strengthening brand credibility in the market.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the energy or trading industry (essential); candidates with strong financial markets experience will also be considered.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English, required as the role involves delivering training and product demos across both language groups.
  • Working knowledge of Python, with the ability to incorporate technical examples into training or demos.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with prior experience in training, public speaking, or media (podcasts/webinars) preferred.
  • Ability to structure and present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Professional, confident, and adaptable, with the ability to represent the company in high-profile external forums.
