What will you do as a Learning Lead?

As a Learning Lead, you will be responsible for supporting, executing and delivering the learning and development programs and activities for technical learning interventions for terminal employees.

What do we expect from you as a Learning Lead?

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry 

  • Diploma in Business, or a related field / Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment / Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance

  • Proven experience in managing learning needs, competency development and assessments

  • Highly driven individual, capable of delivering quality work

  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, facilitation & coaching/mentoring skills

  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders, employees and vendors

Your core responsibilities are:

  • Deliver appropriate programs to enable business success and growth

  • Work across the company and/ or lead interdisciplinary projects supporting the upskilling and competency development of terminal’s employees 

  • Deliver high quality & targeted learning solutions for the terminals

  • Coordinate with the frontline staff to develop / update safe work procedure & safe working instructions for operating assessment within the competence framework

  • Collaborate with L&D function to support in the design, engagement, and delivery of the organisation’s competency framework

  • Support the organisation’s strategic plans in learning and development to foster a culture of lifelong learning and skills mastery in the organisation

  • Collaborate with L&D functions to ensure the execution of programs are aligned with framework and compliance with standards

  • Support the development and documentation management processes and efficient/effective methods of delivery for required training areas for technical employees.

  • Act as a point of contact for terminal requirements on audit requirements relating to training standards and assessments for equipment & processes

  • Coordinate training and qualification metrics to ensure that the company can measure progress in relation to strategic plans as well as the effectiveness of preparing the workforce to perform high quality independent work

  • Act as on site liaison support to ensure accurate reporting, tracking for audits on assessments and qualification metrics of competency requirements for terminal employees

  • Guide the trainee technician during their traineeship
