About the team
Our team is the commercial engine of the Bank, responsible for rethinking how retail customers grow their wealth in a digital-first world. We are driven by Curiosity, constantly reinventing how people experience investment services in Southeast Asia. What you’ll do
You will lead the retail investment business strategy and P&L, taking full accountability for the roadmap’s successful delivery and impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define value-driven strategies that ensure the execution of scalable and reliable wealth services across the region
End-to-end execution of Retail Investment business strategy and managing the P&L, including product portfolio design, distribution, and financial performance across markets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional "Squads" to build, deliver scalable, retail investment products that customers love for their seamless journeys and experience.
Drive formulation and execution of the Retail Investment business growth strategy through segmentation, distribution channels, and data-driven personalization to drive acquisition, AUM growth, and retention.
Drive strategic collaboration with external stakeholders and manage strategic ecosystem partnerships.
Spearhead integrated marketing, customer engagement, and brand positioning to strengthen market leadership and deliver exceptional customer value.
Establish robust investment governance and regulatory oversight, ensuring alignment with MAS and CMFAS requirements while maintaining a risk-first, high-trust customer experience.
Anticipate the changing industry dynamics, competitor developments and product intelligence and be able to analyze its impact to the GXS retail investments business
What you’ll need
Min. of 8 years of relevant experience working in the banking industry
Strong understanding and experience in the management of financial products in the retail investments space is a must
Proven track record of owning and managing business P&L, driving AUM growth and sustainable profitability.
Strong understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks governing retail investments and experience operating within a regulated environment.
Experience building or scaling digital investment platforms and translating commercial strategy into executable product roadmaps.
Demonstrated teamwork amidst high-performing teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities across senior leadership, regulators, and external partners.
To be a strong team player and have the ability to influence positively, yet also able to take initiative and make decisions independently
Able to embrace and thrive in a VUCA (volatile/uncertain/complex/ambiguous) environment
Candidates with CMFAS certifications is strongly preferred
