We’re looking for a talented Lead /Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our Platform team. The platform team is undertaking an exciting “modernization” initiative within Copperleaf, where we are evolving a large, complex codebase toward a cloud-first containerized architecture in AWS. We are not only looking for an excellent software engineer, but also someone who excels in collaborating and mentoring their fellow teammates in the technologies that allow us to evolve the platform to new heights.

A software engineer is expected to consistently develop high-quality software solutions by:  

• Contributing to the design and planning of features.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# and TypeScript code.
• Excels in working across the technology stack, with a particular focus on .NET, Oracle, Angular, Azure Cloud Services, and Kubernetes.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to talent teammates.

Ideally, you have the following experience, but we also recognize that talent comes in many forms, so we’re looking for passion, enthusiasm, and transferrable skills:

• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Proficient in C# and .NET
• Experience with building RESTful web applications.
• Experienced with relational databases such as Oracle
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of both Angular and AngularJS framework
• Experience with Cypress or Selenium is an asset
• Strong in design patterns, OOP concepts, and SOLID principles
• Experience working in cloud-based architectures
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Kubernetes is an asset
